- This standard specifies the applicable scope, terminology, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of high-voltage parallel capacitor devices. This standard is applicable to parallel-connected container devices used to improve power factor, adjust network voltage, and reduce line losses in three-phase AC power systems with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and a rated voltage of 1kV or more.
