- This standard specifies the conditions for overspeed testing of industrial ventilator impellers, preparation before testing, test procedures, evaluation of test results and test reports. This standard is applicable to the overspeed test of centrifugal and axial flow fan impellers used at normal temperature, and also applies to the overspeed test of fan rotors.
