Scope

This standard specifies the heat transfer and pressure drop test methods for spiral plate heat exchangers. This standard applies to spiral plate heat exchangers where the test medium is liquid-liquid. This standard only considers the plate thermal resistance of the spiral plate and does not consider the thermal resistance of other dirt.
