- Scope
- This standard specifies the acoustic emission detection and result evaluation methods for in-service high-pressure gas cylinders during periodic inspection and loading tests. This standard applies to steel high-pressure gas cylinders with a material service strength greater than or equal to 800MPa or a yield-to-strength ratio greater than or equal to 80%. High-pressure pipelines made of similar materials can also be implemented with reference to this standard.
