- Scope
- This standard specifies the test conditions, test instruments, location and number of measuring points, calculation of sound power levels, and judgment principles for test results for the determination of noise and sound power levels of cycloidal pinwheel reducers. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the A-weighted sound power level of the reducer in a test site that meets the regulations (that is, the environmental correction amount K2 is less than or equal to 3dB). When required, frequency band sound power level and directivity index can also be determined according to this standard.
