- This standard specifies the terminology, type and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of valve-type orifice throttling devices. This standard applies to valve-type orifice plate throttling devices that use standard orifice plates as throttling parts and flange pressure sensing devices (including standard orifice plates, valve-type main bodies with pressure sensing holes, and front and rear measuring tubes).
