- This standard specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of steel castings for pumps. This standard applies to sand casting centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps, axial flow pumps, vortex pumps, water ring vacuum pumps, reciprocating pumps, screw pumps, and gear pump castings. Other types of pumps can also be adopted according to their applicable parts.
