Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for reversing valves used in pneumatic transmission and control systems. This standard applies to general industrial pneumatic, electronic, human and mechanical control directional valves that use compressed air as the working medium. Pneumatic directional valves with special requirements are not covered by this standard.
