- This standard specifies the exposure test methods and selection guidelines for mechanical products and components in hot and humid natural climate environments. This standard is applicable to the exposure test of general-purpose products and components in the two climate zone environments of "damp heat" and "sub-humid heat" stipulated in GB 4797.1 "Electrical and Electronic Products Natural Environmental Conditions Temperature and Humidity". Product categories include agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, engineering machinery, mining machinery, heavy machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments, machine tools, general parts, etc. This standard does not apply to exposure tests of products in industrial atmospheric environments and explosive gas mixtures in hot and humid areas, as well as in special environments such as oceans, ships, and mines.
