- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings of pulse capacitors and DC capacitors. This standard applies to pulse capacitors and DC capacitors. These capacitors are mainly used in: a) impulse voltage generators, impulse current generators, impulse voltage dividers and other discontinuous pulse devices; b) oscillation circuits, continuous pulse devices; c) DC high-voltage equipment and rectifier and filter devices.
