Scope

This standard specifies the acoustic emission detection method and result evaluation method during the maintenance and loading test of in-service pressure vessels. This standard applies to steel pressure vessels with a material yield strength of less than or equal to 800MPa. It can also be used as a reference for pressure pipelines.
