Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for tungsten carbide steel-bonded cemented carbide materials for free forging, classification of forgings, machining allowances and limit deviations of forgings, and inspection rules for forgings. This standard applies to steel-bonded cemented carbide free forgings of three grades: malleable tungsten carbide F3000, F3001, and F3002, which are hammer forged.
