- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, complete set supply and warranty period for general-purpose Roots blowers (including single-stage, double-stage, and grouped positive and negative pressure blowers). This standard applies to general-purpose Roots blowers that transport air and neutral non-toxic gases. The air inlet temperature of the blower should not be higher than 40°C, the content of solid particles in the gas should not be greater than 100mg/m^(3), and the maximum size of particles should not be greater than half of the minimum working clearance of each relatively moving part in the blower cylinder. For blowers that transport other special gases, the manufacturer can negotiate with the buyer to implement this standard with reference.
