1.1 This standard specifies the definition of high-pressure water jet cleaning operations with a pressure of not less than 10MPa, the cleaning operation team (personnel, training, protection and accidents), preparation before operation, operation procedures and equipment maintenance. 1.2 High-pressure water jet cleaning operations include cleaning, peeling, crushing, rust removal (paint), sand cleaning, etc. 1.3 This standard applies to the manufacture, testing and use of high-pressure water jet equipment. 1.4 This standard does not replace the necessary training to operate and maintain equipment. Trainees must receive specialized technical training and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and ability in cleaning operations.
