- Scope
- This standard specifies the terminology, product classification and model, technical requirements, performance test methods and inspection methods, acceptance rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pure nitrogen equipment. This standard is applicable to single-tower processes where the oxygen content in nitrogen is less than or equal to 10×10|(-6) (volume content), and pure nitrogen equipment that separates air to produce nitrogen using a low-temperature method. This standard does not apply to pure nitrogen equipment for liquid nitrogen products. Note 1 The nitrogen output in this standard is the standard state, that is, the gas volume at O℃, 101.325k (Pa (absolute)) state, the unit is m3/h. 2 The pressure not specified in this standard is gauge pressure, plus Above (absolute) is absolute pressure.
