Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and determination of the number of static pressure life tests for complete industrial gate valves. This standard is applicable to the static pressure life test of wedge gate valves, parallel gate valves and flat plate gate valves with nominal pressure PN ≤ 42.0MPa.
