- This document specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of tryptamine, phenylethylamine, putrescine, cadaverine, histamine, octopamine, tyramine, spermidine and spermine in animal-derived feed materials. This document applies to tryptamines, phenylethylamine, putrescine, and carcasses in animal-derived feed materials such as fish meal, shrimp meal, chicken meal, pork meal, meat and bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, fish slurry, squid paste, and silkworm chrysalis meal. Determination of nine biogenic amines: amine, histamine, octopamine, tyramine, spermidine and spermine. The detection limit of this document is 5mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 10mg/kg.
