- JB/T 8834-2001 This standard is a revision of JB/T 8834-1999 "Shell type (core) phenolic resin for casting". During the revision, the relevant technical conditions were modified accordingly, and the index of normal temperature flexural strength was introduced into the classification. This standard specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and transportation of shell-type (core) phenolic resins for casting. This standard applies to synthetic resins made from the condensation of phenol and formaldehyde as the main raw materials. Its main purpose is to prepare the binder for shell-type (core) thermal coated sand. This standard was first released as ZB G39 005-1989 in February 1989. The standard number was adjusted to JB/T 8834-1999 in April 1999. This is the first revision.
