- This standard specifies test methods for the effects of relative humidity on industrial automation instruments. This standard is Part 8 of JB/T 9233 "General Test Methods for Industrial Automation Instruments". This standard determines that the instrument can withstand changes in instrument output when the ambient temperature is 40°C ± 2°C and the relative humidity is 91% to 95%. Purely mechanical instruments do not need to undergo this test.
