- This standard specifies the basic requirements for rod-type precision experimental glass thermometers commonly used in precision temperature measurement, and proposes the basic series, specifications and dimensions of long and short thermometers. Where this standard does not make provisions, the thermometer shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 9262-1999 "Industrial Glass Thermometers and Experimental Glass Thermometers". This standard applies to rod-type glass thermometers for precision experiments.
