- This standard specifies the basic series, specifications and dimensions of rod-type ordinary experimental glass thermometers used in situations where temperature measurement accuracy is not high. Where this standard does not make provisions, the thermometer shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 9262-1999 "Industrial Thermometers and Experimental Glass Thermometers". This standard applies to rod-type glass thermometers for general experimental use.
