Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyester fiber nonwovens for electrical applications. This standard applies to non-woven fabrics made from high-strength, low-elongation cotton-type polyester fibers and thermally bonded polyester fibers using the thermal bonding method.
