- This standard specifies the type, dimensions for basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, installation and storage of capacitive level meters. This standard applies to capacitive level meters that measure material level by detecting the capacitance between the two poles where the material is located. The instrument consists of sensors and indicating instruments. It can be used for continuous measurement of liquid level or material level in open containers or pressure vessels.
