Scope

This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of quality method fuel consumption measuring devices. This standard is applicable to non-volatile fuel consumption measuring devices that measure mass at a fixed time or at a fixed time. It is not applicable to measuring devices for volatile fuel consumption.
