Scope

This standard specifies methods for measuring the noise and sound power levels of climate environment testing equipment and test chambers, and methods for identifying the measurement environment. This standard is applicable to the noise measurement of various types of test chambers when they are operating stably without load. This standard does not apply to climate test chambers built by architecture or architectural design.
