- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods and markings of drive and control devices for fixed fire extinguishing systems. This standard applies to drive and control devices in fixed fire extinguishing systems installed in general industrial and civil buildings. Such devices with special performance installed in other environments should also refer to this standard unless special requirements are separately specified by relevant standards.
