Scope
This International Standard applies to expendable, reflectored photoflash lamp arrays with standard- ized bases [“Topflash/Flipflash” (see IEC 604), Flashbar, Magicube (see IEC 61-1), Flashcube (see IEC 61-1), Flash 600] in which the light is produced by a combustion within a transparent envelope, ini- tiated by a synchronization pulse. The important time intervals of the luminous flux/time character- istics, the time integral of luminous intensity, and tolerances for the ISO spectral distribution index are defined for the various types of arrays.
