Scope

This standard specifies the equipment selection method for conventional beam pumping units in rod pumping systems. This standard is applicable to the equipment selection of conventional beam pumping units under conventional oil well conditions in oil fields. Please refer to the selection of heterogeneous beam pumping units. This standard does not apply to the selection of pumping units for inclined wells, high wax content, high condensation oil and extra heavy oil wells.
