- This specification is applicable to the design and construction of foundation treatment for vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks for petrochemical industries such as crude oil, intermediate product oil and refined oil. It is not suitable for the design and construction of storage of low-temperature, acid-base corrosive and dead weight greater than 10kN/m cubic media and foundation treatment of elevated storage tanks. When implementing this specification, it should still comply with the requirements of current relevant standards and specifications.
