- This standard specifies the terms and definitions of test methods for fatigue crack growth rate of metallic materials in aqueous media, specimens, test devices, test procedures, processing and calculation methods of test results. This standard is applicable to the determination of the constant load amplitude fatigue crack growth rate of metallic materials not greater than [G] in aqueous media using compact tensile C (T), WOL specimens or central crack tensile M (T) specimens. To determine the fatigue crack growth rate less than [G], please refer to the relevant provisions in GB 6398.
