- This standard is suitable for measuring the elastic modulus E and bending elastic limit σbe of metal strips with a thickness of 0.5mm to 1.00mm at room temperature by installing specimens in a simply supported beam manner and loading at the center point. The elastic aftereffect Ht can also be determined (the elastic aftereffect is used as a reference method). This standard also applies to the measurement of specified proportional limits for metal strips.
