Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions and gaps of the front hand guard of a chain saw. These dimensions and gaps can ensure that the front hand guard fully exerts its safety protection function. The front hand guard not only plays a role between the operator's hand and the saw chain. This standard does not apply to circular handle chain saws.
