- This standard specifies the basic technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, storage and transportation requirements for electrical connectors (hereinafter referred to as connectors) with frequencies below 3MHz and voltages below 500V for railway locomotives. This standard is applicable to connectors that transmit electrical signals for reconnection between railway locomotives and internal and external circuits of electrical equipment in the train. This standard does not apply to special power connectors.
