Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for photoelectric speed sensors at the shaft end of diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and electric multiple units. This standard applies to photoelectric speed sensors at the shaft end of locomotives (hereinafter referred to as sensors).
