- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, the series of main dimensions of standard ship types for dry bulk carriers and tankers passing through locks, the series of main dimensions of standard ship types for container ships passing through locks, and the series of main dimensions of standard ship types for self-unloading sand ships passing through locks. This standard applies to dry bulk carriers, liquid cargo ships (including chemical tankers, oil tankers), container ships, and self-unloading sand ships that pass through navigation structures such as ship locks and ship lifts on the Ganjiang and Xinjiang rivers. The main dimensions of multi-purpose transport ships refer to the series of main dimensions of standard ship types corresponding to the main types of transported goods.
