Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test rules, measurement equipment, methods and accuracy, data collection and calculation and related calculation formulas of axial flow turbochargers (hereinafter referred to as superchargers) for railway power plant diesel engines. This standard is applicable to the relevant tests of axial flow turbochargers for diesel engines of new railway power plants. Radial flow turbochargers can be used as a reference.
