Scope

This standard provides the establishment of a dose-response curve for human peripheral blood lymphocyte nuclei induced by ionizing radiation and a method for estimating biological dose using it. This standard applies to dose estimation for persons exposed to acute external radiation accidents. This standard does not apply to biological dose estimation for fractionated exposure, long-term low-dose exposure and internal exposure.
