Scope

This standard specifies the general test methods for direct (pulse) flow motors used in rolling stock. This standard applies to type tests and routine tests of DC or pulse flow motors (including traction motors, main generators, auxiliary motors and auxiliary generators) on railway locomotives and EMUs. If the research test content is consistent with the items of this standard, it can also be conducted with reference to this standard.
