Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and acceptance and inspection conditions for the press-fitting of wheels and sleeves using the oil injection press-fitting process. This standard applies to oil injection and press-fitting of railway locomotive wheels and axles. If there are special requirements or other parts are involved before or after the wheels and axles are pressed, they should be separately specified in the product drawings and technical documents.
