- Scope
- This standard applies to all control, regulation, protection, power supply and other electronic devices installed on railway rolling stock (including carpets and urban rail vehicles). These devices may be powered by vehicle batteries or generators, or may be powered by low-voltage power supplies (transformers, voltage dividers, auxiliary power supplies) directly or indirectly connected to the contact network; in this standard, electronic devices refer to semiconductor devices and Devices mainly composed of other general-purpose components, which are usually mounted on printed boards. Note: This standard also applies to (current, voltage, speed, etc.) sensors and power electronic device trigger boards, but the complete trigger device should comply with IEC61287-1. This standard is not intended for use in power electronic devices for main and auxiliary circuits.
