- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product packaging and marking of coaxial distribution cables for access networks. This standard applies to the production and use of coaxial distribution cables. The products specified in this standard are mainly used to connect optical line equipment to building groups, building communication equipment rooms, or as communication and cable TV lines for transmitting telephone, television, data and other communication services. The operating frequency range of coaxial distribution cables (hereinafter referred to as cables) is 5 to 1000MHz. The operating temperature of cables is generally -40℃~+60℃.
