- This standard mainly specifies the technical requirements for ISDN automatic subscriber branch exchanges (ISPBX) with type 2 network termination function (NT2) in the narrowband integrated services digital network (N-ISDN). This provision applies to all ISPBXs accessing the public N-ISDN. Other equipment with NT2 functions that connect to the network through the 30B+D interface, such as LAN equipment, multiplexing equipment, routers, etc., must meet the basic technical requirements of YDN 034 1997C (1SDN User-Network Access Technical Specifications).
