- This part specifies the encoding requirements for address property indicators during the transmission of calling numbers between networks, the calling number transmission methods and format requirements for international transfer calls, and the processing functions of international switching equipment for transmission of calling user numbers. As well as the calling number requirements transmitted between the private network and PABX (or branch office) and PSTN. This section applies to domestic switching offices, international switching offices and gateway switching offices in use.
