Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, quality certificates and guarantees for crude wheels for railway locomotives. This standard applies to the manufacturing, ordering and inspection of rough carbon steel wheels for locomotives with speeds not exceeding 200km/h and axle loads not exceeding 26 t.
