Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the corrosion rate of standard test pieces. The measured data (corrosion rate in the first year of exposure) is used as the classification basis for evaluating atmospheric corrosiveness in accordance with CNS 13401 [Corrosion of Metals and Alloys - Classification of Atmospheric Corrosion].
