Scope

This standard is applicable to users (e.g. standard setters, machinery designers) to avoid dangers from pressure injury areas. Specifies the minimum clearance relative to a part of the human body to achieve appropriate safety. This standard only applies to risks from crushing hazards and does not apply to other possible hazards (such as punching, shearing, entanglement).
