Scope

This standard specifies the test method for the Portland water cement content of hardened concrete. However, if the concrete contains certain aggregates or mixed aggregates or admixtures, significant amounts of leached calcium (CaO) and leached silicon will be released under the test conditions. (SiO2), this test method cannot be applied.
