- This standard stipulates that this test is used to evaluate the ability of glass containers to resist chemical attack, including the following methods: 1.1 BA method: The pH value of glass used to contain products is below 5. The method is to store the glass part with dilute acid as an etching agent, place it in a hot autoclave, and test it at 121°C. 1.2 BW method: Suitable for glass used for packaging products with a pH value above 5.
