Scope
This standard specifies the measurement of the fundamental frequencies of the transverse, longitudinal and torsional frequencies of concrete rectangular cylinders and cylindrical specimens. 1.1 This standard is used to calculate the dynamic Young's elastic modulus, dynamic rigid modulus (also known as shear elastic modulus) and dynamic Poisson's ratio of concrete specimens. 1.2 The main purpose of this test method is to detect the impact of concrete specimens cast in laboratories or workplaces due to wind when exposed to nature.
