- This standard specifies the method for determining the bursting strength of paper by increasing the hydraulic pressure. This standard is applicable to the determination of the bursting strength of paper with a bursting strength of 70kPa~1400kPa, not applicable to the determination of the bursting strength of composite paperboard (such as: corrugated board or liner board). The method given in GB/T1539 is more suitable for composited paperboard Determination of bursting strength of similar products. In the case where the determination method is not specified in the commercial agreement, materials with a bursting strength lower than 600kPa can be tested in this standard.
